Trainer Colin Wilton’s runner struggled in tougher A5 company, but against this competition, he has a much better chance. With little early speed from those around him, MAC THE LAD could find himself in a strong position halfway through the race. His class and recent form should make him a formidable contender.

20:54 NOTTINGHAM: BLUEJIG OPHELIA (Trap 3)

In the ARC Sprint Trophy at 20:54, BLUEJIG OPHELIA (Trap 3) is primed to deliver a winning performance. She had the upper hand against rival Kylenoe Bilbo when they last met in June and is set to outpace him once again, capitalising on his tendency to start slow. Look out for her to make a bold statement in this race.
