Mark Delbridge Dominates Warragul Race

In an unusual spectacle at Warragul, trainer Mark Delbridge fielded all eight participants in a single race. 

Seven of the eight greyhounds bore the ‘Paw’ prefix, but it was Xoel Bale, the only one without it, who claimed victory in the 460m contest.

The race was the final of a competition where Delbridge had an impressive eight runners from the 16 heats the previous week. Remarkably, all eight made it through to the final!

Jokingly, it’s been suggested that their next greyhound should be named "Paw Commentator" in honour of the announcer who had to manage the chaos of so many similar names in one race.
