Laughil Jess with Fourth Consecutive Victory

Dave Lee’s standout performer, Laughil Jess, continues to bolster her already impressive career with another win. Though her last two victories have been by slim margins, Jess's ability to position herself for success is undeniable. Her remarkable consistency at the traps and sectionals earned her a 33rd win last night, bringing her strike rate to an outstanding 65%, with 33 wins out of 51 races. Lee also celebrated success with Dal Flash on the same night.

While Jess’s time of 33.91 over 540m was impressive, it wasn’t the fastest of the night. That honour went to Ritzy Empress, who clocked in at 33.78 for Jim Reynolds. Over 380m, the standout performance came from Imonlytwink, who completed the race in 23.08. Trained by Ricky Holloway, this February 2023 whelp has now claimed victory in two of her three starts. Holloway also had a successful evening with wins from Signet Harper, Patterdale Zorro, and Coppice Fox.

Julie Luckhurst enjoyed a double triumph with Earls Ruby and Kilmagner Flash, while other notable winners included Whisky Bella for Craig Marston, Millbank Jojo for Jamie Kingsley, and Blue Teddybear for Barry O’Sullivan.
