Kehoe Enjoys Slaneyside Treble In Youghal On Wednesday Night

Owner/trainer Derek Kehoe had a remarkable night in Youghal on Wednesday, securing a fantastic treble with his greyhounds.

The standout performance of the evening came from SLANEYSIDE LILA, who claimed victory in the Burgess Bucks @ Stud 550. Sponsored by JJ Fennelly, the 6-4 favourite exhibited an impressive start, quickly positioning herself at the front. The powerful display resulted in a commanding win, finishing five and a half lengths ahead of Vivaro Dubh in 30.53 (A3).

Kehoe's successful night commenced with SLANEYSIDE NED (4-5), a June offspring of Ballymac Wild and Slaneyside Kerri. Making a winning debut, the greyhound showcased remarkable speed, finishing in 29.94 on the somewhat slow track.

The triumphant evening concluded with SLANEYSIDE VARDY, a 5-2 shot, securing victory in the highly competitive A1 event. Displaying an excellent front-running performance, Vardy maintained a lead throughout and finished strongly, defeating Marlfield Dougal by four and a half lengths in 29.41.
