GBGB Unveils New Racing Office System with Major Benefits
The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) has officially rolled out its new Racing Office System, now in use at all GBGB-licensed tracks following its launch on October 1st. Designed by Racing and Sports, this modern system replaces the outdated RaceTech software, allowing tracks to manage race entries and results more efficiently. Additional features are expected to be introduced in the coming months.
This launch marks a significant step in GBGB's digital transformation initiative, aimed at improving the overall functionality and streamlining operations within the sport. The system will provide real-time race data, bringing both operational and financial advantages to the industry and its stakeholders.
GBGB's Commercial Director, Mark Moisley, noted that the successful implementation was the result of extensive collaboration between GBGB and Racing and Sports. He highlighted the system’s projected savings of over £500,000 per year, emphasising that it would boost the sport’s efficiency and financial health. He also expressed gratitude to the tracks for their cooperation throughout the launch and anticipated even more improvements to the system soon.
Brent Dolan, Managing Director of Racing and Sports UK & Europe, echoed these sentiments, explaining that the project took more than a year of careful planning and development. He praised the teamwork involved in bringing the system to life and mentioned that further updates were being prepared to enhance the system’s services. Dolan looked forward to continuing the partnership with Racing Offices and GBGB moving forward.
