13:17 MONMORE: WINDMILL DREAM (Trap 1)

At Monmore in the 13.17 A3 race, Windmill Dream (Trap 1) is the top choice. With two wins in his last four races by leading from the start, he’s established himself as a front-runner. Since mid-July, he has consistently finished in the top three, marking him as one of the most reliable contenders at the track. With three of his fourteen victories coming in this grade, he can claim another win today. His early pace stands out, and despite a few rivals posting faster times, if Windmill Dream starts well, he’ll be tough to catch.

The biggest threat could come from Roxhill Melita (Trap 2), who has the fastest time in the field. She almost replicated that speed in her last race in this grade, finishing second. Though it was a drop in class for her, she showed good form. Melita will likely follow closely behind Windmill Dream early on, and if she’s near the front down the backstretch, she could pose a significant challenge.

17:06 SUNDERLAND: CLONLEIGH ROBIN (Trap 5)

Later in the day, I’m backing Clonleigh Robin (Trap 5) at Sunderland in the 17:06 race. Robin, who recently arrived from Ireland, hasn’t yet hit her stride but now has a great chance to secure her first win. She led much of the way in her last A1 outing but was overtaken late by stronger runners. With a drop in class this time, Robin should have what it takes to hold on for victory.

Her main competition might come from Coologue Gonzo (Trap 1), a hound known for finishing strongly. Despite a slow start in his previous A2 race, Gonzo powered through to win and remains unpenalised. If he can avoid early traffic and find a good position, he could chase down Robin in the final stages.

19:27 ROMFORD: BACON FRAZZLES (Trap 3)

Lastly, at Romford in the 19:27 race, we look at Bacon Frazzles (Trap 3). This greyhound has only had four runs over 575m but has won two by coming from behind. Although she finished fifth in her last S1 race, she encountered a lot of trouble during the race and was still only a length and three-quarters behind the winner. With a slight drop in grade, Bacon Frazzles should find this race more manageable and is poised for a strong showing.
