We’re focusing on Hove, where Touchdown Cammy (Trap 1) looks set to claim the A1 race at 18:42. Veteran runner, trained by Belinda Green, has shown she’s often stronger when starting from trap two, as demonstrated by her impressive manoeuvre last week. Despite this, she should comfortably hold off the competition from her inside draw.

Her advantage lies in her consistency. Market Group (Trap 4) impressed last time with an easy lead from a favourable draw, but may struggle to dominate this time. 

20:07 HOVE: HARLEQUIN BEAUTY (Trap 3)

In the Stayers Trophy Final at 20:07, Harlequin Beauty (Trap 3) is expected to live up to her status as the fastest in the heats. Seamus Cahill’s runner is aiming for a fourth consecutive victory over the 695m distance. Despite losing her favoured trap one starting position, her early speed should still allow her to take control of the race.

20:24 HOVE: DROOPYS DIALOGUE (Trap 4)

At 20:24, Droopys Dialogue (Trap 4) is the one to watch in the Standard Trophy Final. Although slightly slower than the other heat winners last week, his consistent performances make him a solid bet. David Dark’s charge has the early speed to seize control from the outside.

However, don’t completely count out Droopys Rosie (Trap 1). With her progressive form and a prime inside draw, she could offer a surprise, so it might be worth keeping her in consideration.
