Next up is DROOPYS PLUNGE (Trap 3), who was outstanding in the first round of the Eclipse and might just be Patrick Janssens's ace in the hole for this event. Having recently turned two, this powerful offspring of Droopys Sydney has a bright future ahead. Competing in the first semi-final (20:36) while sporting the white jacket, he faces stiff competition from four other first-round winners. However, with a sharp break from the traps, he stands a strong chance of leading the field. His impressive time of 29.46 seconds last week suggests that replicating that performance would comfortably secure his place in the final.

21:28 NOTTINGHAM: TRICKYTINKERBELL (Trap 3)

Lastly, in the initial heat (21:28) of the ARC Maiden Standard Trophy, TRICKYTINKERBELL (Trap 3) might find the middle draw more to her advantage than last week's position in trap 2. The Sheffield runner hasn't yet displayed her best at Colwick Park, but with two runs now under her belt and a better draw, we may finally see her true capabilities. Facing only four rivals, a swift start could see her ahead by the second bend.
