Daily Greyhound Tips - July 9, 2024

SHEFFIELD BELLA (Trap 1) is featured once again, even after last week's disappointment in an A6 race at Sheffield (13:17). She had previously impressed with a strong finish to secure her first win, but couldn't quite replicate that performance last week despite a good effort. Today, while she faces faster competitors, many of them struggle to secure wins. With a favourable draw and her neighbour aiming for the middle of the track, Bella has a chance to turn handy and come close to victory.

BANG ON ALFIE (Trap 4), a March 2023 pup, had an impressive debut at Monmore, narrowly missing out by a short head. He looks promising in today's A8 race (16:22). Nathan Hunt’s charge, out of Oaks winner Wuhedia, showed strong finishing speed after encountering trouble on the third bend in his first run. With a smoother passage, Alfie has a strong chance to win. Grangeview Lilly (Trap 5), who finished behind Alfie last week, should pose less of a threat today drawn wider. This race, featuring several young competitors, could provide valuable insights into their potential.

BURROW ESKE (Trap 4) is worth watching in an A7 race at Perry Barr (15:51). Despite a stumbled start in her second outing, she showed late progress and has the potential to move up from this grade soon. At 28 months old, Philip Holder’s charge is still developing and could surprise despite being pitted against faster rivals like Sahara Domino (Trap 2). The current market odds may be in our favour.
