Friday promises an exciting lineup of Greyhound racing, with the main action, as usual, happening under the lights at Romford, featuring seven open races that are sure to add some thrill to your day. 

13:08 CENTRAL PARK: NO MORE BISCUITS (Trap 2)

The first recommendation comes from the Central Park event, where NO MORE BISCUITS, running from Trap 2, is poised to capitalise on a favourable rails position in the A1 race at 13:08.

With Trap 1 now vacant, Dan Brabon's greyhound seems likely to outpace Hollyoak Maximus in the neighbouring trap before they reach the first bend. Though there's significant speed from the outside contenders, any of them would need a flawless start to challenge the quick-footed No More Biscuits by the bend.

In what appears to be a race where the leader will take all, the draw gives No More Biscuits the edge.

16:09 NEWCASTLE: MARLFIELD ARTETA (Trap 3)

Meanwhile, at Newcastle, MARLFIELD ARTETA, running from Trap 3, benefits from a generous drop in grade in the A3 at 16:09 and seems ready to return to winning form. Jimmy Fenwick's runner last claimed victory easily in this grade at the end of June, and with limited early speed in this race, a sharp start could see him take the lead early on.

If he gets ahead, it will be difficult for anyone to catch him at this lower level. His recent A2 performances have been solid, and two runs ago, he might have been a bit unlucky when he got tangled up.

19:11 ROMFORD: SHELBY'S GIRL (Trap 3)

Back at Romford, SHELBY'S GIRL, running from Trap 3, could be the one to watch in the bitches' open at 19:11. Nathan Hunt's speedy contender clocked an impressive 23.89 in her last race, and a repeat performance should be more than enough to secure a win here.

Droopy's Sydney's daughter should outpace Droopy's Saoirse from Trap 1 to the bend, and if she leads as expected, she'll be tough to catch.
