In her last race, she faced interference at a crucial point, which hindered her progress. However, when given space, she has an impressive burst of speed, and I believe she could take the lead as they approach the final turn this afternoon.
19:56 YARMOUTH: BONJURNO BOY (Trap 3)
Later in the evening, at Yarmouth, BONJURNO BOY is set to compete in the A1 at 19.56, returning to graded competition after an unfortunate run in an open race last week.
Before that defeat, he was on a strong upward trajectory, and I expect him to regain his form in this slightly less challenging environment.
20:19 NOTTINGHAM: DROOPY'S EXTRAGUD (Trap 3)
On the Nottingham card, my standout pick in the Puppy Classic semi-finals is DROOPY'S EXTRAGUD, racing from Trap 3 in the first semi at 20.19.
While it might seem risky to back a greyhound that was defeated as a heavy favourite last time out, there was a reason for his loss—he was impeded at the second bend. He’s capable of much better starts, and I’m optimistic that he can rediscover his best form at Towcester tonight.
