Daily Greyhound Tips - 26 February 2024

Anthony Ennis provided a winning tip for Nottingham last Monday with Up The Palace (7-4), and this week, he's back with four selections, including races at Romford and Nottingham.

The week kicks off with exciting action on the Premier Greyhound Racing channel, along with live coverage from Romford and Nottingham on the main Sky Sports Racing channel.

In the early morning Romford opener (10.47), Kingdom Ten (1) aims to bounce back after facing challenges in A5 races recently. Trained by Bernie Doyle, this railer might not be the fastest starter, but his ability to stick to the rail and finish strongly sets him apart. The main rival, Wild Cailin Dubh (4), might face difficulties with the inside pace. If Kingdom Ten (1) gets a clear path, he could turn handier and secure the lead rounding the last bend.

Moving to the first A3 race (11.32) at Romford, Pay It Forward (1), trained by Nathan Hunt, is poised for a promising run. With a generous downgrade from the racing manager, Pay It Forward (1) has the perfect draw in the red. Despite a close finish in a higher grade last time, avoiding an early bump from Bubbly Cooper (2) is crucial. If successful, Pay It Forward's (1) back-straight pace could propel him to the front at the paddock turn.

In the second A6 contest at Romford (12.02), Crohane Topaz (3), under Paul Young's training, is ready to shine after a slight grade reduction. Aiming for an early lead, Crohane Topaz (3) faces an opportune moment to assert dominance over the field. The dog on his outer, Cloud Canine (4), transitioning from six bends, gives Crohane Topaz (3) a golden opportunity to establish control from the early stages.

For the final Monday selection on Nottingham's evening card, Petite Alfie (3) looks to secure victory in the A5 event (20.44). Trained by Adrian McPherson, Petite Alfie (3) is an all-or-nothing type, relying on an early lead for success. With Una Nocte (1) and Platinum Bea (2) being slow starters, Petite Alfie (3) aims to beat them to the corner and take charge from the fast-starting She's A Cert (4) off the second turn. A previous impressive performance in A6 company suggests another strong showing is possible at Cowlick Park.
