Daily Greyhound Tips 19th March 2024
The expert presents a trio of selections, all of which caught his eye in their recent outings, for Tuesday's greyhound racing action from Romford, Perry Barr, and Swindon.
Sky Sports Racing viewers are in for a treat with live greyhound racing on Tuesday, featuring meetings at Newcastle, Perry Barr, and Crayford, all broadcasted on the channel. Additionally, every race from other venues, including Romford and Swindon, can be accessed via the red button or on greyhounds.attheraces.com.
Here are the picks for the day, featuring three promising young contenders:
Having watched CANTBEASKED (Trap 4) on his debut at Romford last week, this youngster's name is a tongue-twister for race callers, but the expert fancies him to triumph in a bottom-grade A11 contest (14.09) at the east London track.
Despite a slow start in his debut race, Paul Young's well-bred August pup (Bubbly Bluebird - Three Ems) displayed impressive pace and determination, albeit getting sandwiched between rivals. With natural improvement expected, he is poised to perform well in a competitive field.
BLACKLABEL MOLLY (Trap 2) also impressed on her debut and is tipped to secure victory in a D3 sprint (15.01) at Perry Barr. Although slow off the mark, she showcased good movement around the bend and is expected to benefit from the presence of a slower opponent in trap 1.
With slightly more experience but still relatively young as a September whelp, BALLYMAC ANDRE (Trap 5) is favoured to shine in an A2 event (21.36) at Swindon. Despite a sluggish start, Angie Kibble's greyhound exhibited strong pacing and determination, making a late surge for victory. Remaining in the same grade, he appears well-positioned to outclass his rivals.
Best Bets
14.09 Romford Cantbeasked (Trap 4)
