Changes to Yarmouth Racing Schedule

It seems Yarmouth's regular Saturday evening cards will be discontinued after this weekend, with only occasional fixtures planned for the remainder of the year. Despite these Saturday meetings breaking even financially, the decision to suspend them primarily stems from a shortage of runners. Most of the dogs competing were from Yarmouth itself, impacting the availability of runners for their contracted meetings on other days.

Moving forward, Yarmouth intends to prioritize their Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday fixtures, which are presumably more crucial for their overall scheduling and operations. However, they still plan to hold occasional Saturday meetings, offering standard distances, puppy races, and maidens. This adjustment aims to optimize their racing schedule while managing resources effectively.
