Golden Sprint Ante-Post Market Takes Shape

Patrick Janssens' Druids Say Go leads the ante-post market for Romford's Coral Golden Sprint, set to commence on Friday. With an impressive record of six wins and two seconds in eight outings over the Sprint course, Druids Say Go aims to continue the kennel's tradition in the event. Despite facing tough competition with faster times from contenders like Cunnigar Yousir and Droopys Eddie, the kennel's history in the Golden Sprint adds to the anticipation. The race has seen varied final times in recent years, emphasizing the importance of form and strategy. The field includes Crafty Shivoo, Cooliogold, and other competitive entries.

Bramble Kennel's Comeback with Promising Hounds

Newcastle promoter Steve Anderson is hopeful for a resurgence of the 'Bramble' prefix in the open race scene with three promising hounds. Notably, Glengar Elvis, formerly trained by Pat Buckley, boasts strong Irish form, including a runner-up finish in the Barry 600 Final at Shelbourne. Now named Bramble Elvis, he clocked an impressive 28.72 in a qualifying trial at Newcastle, gearing up for the Maiden Derby at Towcester. The kennel's other prospects, Bramble Oreo and Bramble Tango, aim to follow in the footsteps of past stars Reggie, Magpie, and Millburn, bringing renewed optimism to the kennel after a challenging year.
