Super Sally Still in Contention as Crow Takes Flight in Golden Jacket Heats

In the heats of the Premier Greyhound Racing Golden Jacket at Crayford, Coonough Crow proved to be the quickest, clocking a time of 44.99 seconds. Champion trainer Mark Wallis celebrated a double victory in the Golden Jacket heats with Coonough Crow and Ballymac Taylor (45.39 seconds). Wallis also saw success with Minnie Bullet, securing the fastest winning time in the supporting Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy over 540m with a time of 33.36 seconds.

Jimmy Fenwick, the trainer from Newcastle, had reason to be pleased as Bellmore Sally, the two-time winner of the last Premier Greyhound Racing Golden Jackets, qualified for the semi-finals by finishing second to Haka Carlo (45.10 seconds) in their heat. This sets the stage for a thrilling semi-final clash between Bellmore Sally, Ballymac Taylor, Queen Pink, and New Destiny, the ante-post favorite who chased home Bubbly Scorcher (45.17 seconds).

Queen Pink, trained by Liz McNair, returned to winning form by making all in 45.26 seconds, defeating favorite Breton Molly. Liz McNair's other entry, Havana Lover, secured victory in the final heat with a time of 45.57 seconds.
