Nominations are presently open for the Kennelhand of the Year Award.
This esteemed accolade honours one exceptional kennelhand for their dedication to caring for their greyhounds and is presented at the annual awards ceremony each year.
Anyone involved in the industry can nominate a kennelhand who they believe has demonstrated tremendous dedication and regularly goes that extra mile.
Nominations should be emailed to awards@gbgb.org.uk with the subject line ‘Kennelhand of the Year 2023’ and should include the nominee’s name and a brief description of why they are a deserving recipient, along with the contact details of the person submitting the nomination.
Nominations must be received by Sunday 21st January 2024.
The winner will receive £500, two tickets to the Awards Ceremony and accommodation, as well as the coveted Kennelhand of the Year trophy.

It shines a light on individuals who go above and beyond and is our chance to applaud their work and the love that they have for their hounds.”
The Greyhound of the Year 2023 Awards will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Brighton Metropole on Sunday 3rd March 2024.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on Thursday 18th January 2024 and are priced at £95 per person – further details to follow.
