The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) has taken the decision to suspend the license of Andy Lisemore, Racing Manager at Towcester Racecourse.
In their official statement, GBGB stated:
"Under Rule 160(vii), we confirm the temporary suspension of Mr. Andrew Lisemore's license, who serves as the Racing Manager at Towcester Racecourse. As the regulatory body, we prioritise upholding the Rules of Racing to maintain the highest standards of welfare and integrity within our sport.
"An ongoing investigation is in progress, and both Mr. Lisemore and the racecourse management have been informed. We are collaborating closely with the track to provide support in implementing the necessary adjustments ahead of today's race meeting."
The suspension underscores GBGB's commitment to ensuring adherence to regulations and safeguarding the welfare of greyhounds and the integrity of the sport.
