Ladbrokes Kent St Leger Semi-Finals Set to Showcase Greyhound Class

As anticipation mounts for the Ladbrokes Kent St Leger semi-finals at Crayford over 714m, racing manager Danny Rayment expresses admiration for the caliber of contenders poised to compete.

The draw for the semi-finals has set the stage for an exhilarating showdown, with all four heat winners converging in the first of two qualifiers. Coonough Crow, demonstrating a remarkable affinity for the Kent circuit, set the pace in Sunday's opening round, posting the fastest time of 45.04sec. Mark Wallis's runner, a two-time finalist in the Premier Greyhound Racing Golden Jacket, showcased her prowess with a commanding 11 and a quarter lengths victory.

Wallis continued his success in heat two, as Ballymac Taylor, a formidable competitor, returned to Crayford with a dominant performance. Clocking a time of 45.51sec, Ballymac Taylor secured a five-length win, qualifying alongside Maleficent and Droopys Flotilla.

Ricky Holloway's double triumph in heat three further heightened the excitement, with Razldazl Amanda and Dazl Rolex emerging victorious. Razldazl Amanda's impressive run, coupled with Dazl Rolex's strategic prowess, sets the stage for a compelling semi-final lineup.

Reflecting on the upcoming races, Rayment acknowledges the depth of talent among the competitors. "You can see there's huge class on show," he remarks, underscoring the competitive spirit that will undoubtedly characterize Sunday's events.

With contenders like Coonough Crow, Ballymac Taylor, Razldazl Amanda, and Dazl Rolex in the mix, the Ladbrokes Kent St Leger semi-finals promise to deliver a thrilling display of greyhound racing at its finest.
