Greyhound Swift Silly Emerges as the Fastest in PGR All England Cup

In a dazzling display of speed, Greyhound Swift Silly soared to victory in the first race of the Premier Greyhound Racing (PGR) All England Cup, covering an impressive 480m track in Newcastle.

Swift Silly effortlessly surpassed rivals Papa Di Oro and Skywalker Pele, seizing the lead into the initial turn, completing it in a swift 28.72 seconds. The second swiftest performance of the tournament was delivered by John Mullins's greyhound, Wrighty, hitting his stride in the sixth race by triumphing over the favoured Coolavanni Mercy. Wrighty, under the skilled guidance of John Mullins, clocked in at 28.96 seconds, securing a place in the final.

A mere two hundredths of a second later, Burj Khalifa concluded the race in 28.98 seconds, having previously claimed victory in the PGR Eclipse tournament, finishing in the runner-up position this time around.
