Farewell to Bellmore Sally and Hope for Coppice Gracie's Recovery

Bellmore Sally retired from racing after her defeat in the TV Trophy heats, marking the end of a stellar career under owner Neil McGregor and trainer Jimmy Fenwick.

A triple Cat One winner, Sally won 19 of her 47 races and contested seven major finals across different distances.

Jimmy Fenwick expressed: “The TV Trophy was particularly special for us. It was a dream my father always cherished, and seeing it fulfilled meant a lot to us and Mel. Sally brought immense joy and fulfilled many dreams.”

Sally will now rest before her upcoming breeding plans with hopes for a successful insemination.

Additionally, Coppice Gracie's unfortunate injury during the British Breeders Final was a blow for the Fenwicks and owner Tony Brealey. However, following successful surgery, they remain optimistic about her recovery, expecting her back on the track within 16-20 weeks.
