Daily Greyhound Tips - June 29, 2024

Tonight's greyhound racing features the finals of four competitions among nine Open races at Monmore, while Central Park hosts four Open races. The action kicks off at 11 am and continues until the final race just after 10 pm. Here are the top tips for the day:

Monmore - 18:48

AERO PATTIKA (Trap 3)

Richie Taberner's promising youngster, Aero Pattika, looks poised to secure victory in the 480m Puppy Final. Benefiting from a month off, he dominated his heat with his fastest split time yet. Expect him to go clear from the start. Market rival Bang On Edith (Trap 5) was outclassed last week, and unless she gets a perfect start, it's hard to see her reversing the form.

Monmore - 19:56

SEAVIEW SYDNEY (Trap 6)

Seaview Sydney needs to overcome the outside draw but has the stamina to outlast his rivals in the 480m Final. Nathan Hunt’s charge has returned in career-best form after a two-month break and offers good value against Bluejig Baron (Trap 4), the fastest heat winner and the main danger. Cunnigar Yousir (Trap 2) ended a nine-race losing streak with a perfect start last week but may struggle to repeat the feat, especially with early pace threat Whisky Champ (Trap 1) in the mix.

Monmore - 21:04

DROOPYS GOOGLE (Trap 4)

Droopys Google can make an immediate winning return in the one-off 480m Open at Monmore. The Champion Stakes finalist hasn’t raced since late November but has shown progressive form in trials, with his trainer noticeably fine-tuning his weight. While a middle draw may seem less than ideal, Droopys Google has handled it well before, and his proven stamina should give him an edge against mostly front-runners.

Best Bets

  • 18:48 Monmore: AERO PATTIKA (Trap 3)
  • 19:56 Monmore: SEAVIEW SYDNEY (Trap 6)
  • 21:04 Monmore: DROOPYS GOOGLE (Trap 4)

Enjoy the races and good luck!
