In the BGBF Harry Williams - Blue Artisan British Bred Final at 21:32, THE BULLDOG (Trap 3) is favoured to bounce back from his disappointing heat run where he was a beaten odds-on favourite. A son of Droopy’s Sydney, he excels at his home track Newcastle but struggled after missing the break last week. With experience on this track now, he's expected to show his true potential with a dominant front-running display.

On the early Central Park card, the D1 sprint at 11:43 is highly competitive and could easily pass for an open race. ROSSTEMPLE DAVEY (Trap 5) is the standout, having won his last D1 race comfortably at the start of June and an open race a fortnight later. Tony Collette’s sprinter is known for his quick starts and should be able to get inside the wide-running King Marvin (Trap 6) by the first bend, before pulling away from the field.
