Daily Greyhound Tips - 23 February 2024

After successfully tipping Nottingham winner Up The Palace (7-4) on Monday, Anthony Ennis is back with three selections across Crayford, Nottingham, and Romford for Friday's action.

As the weekend approaches, live greyhound racing is in full swing on the Premier Greyhound Racing channel. Romford features its usual open-race card, accompanied by trials for the upcoming Golden Sprint competition. The morning/early afternoon action at Hove on the south coast is also live on the main Sky Sports Racing channel. Crayford hosts an afternoon meeting, while Nottingham takes the evening slot.

In the six-bend S2 event at Crayford (15.07), Angel Whisper (Trap 3) stands out as a strong contender. Despite encountering trouble in the previous race, she possesses a blend of speed and stamina, making her a formidable competitor over the 540m journey. With a clear run, Angel Whisper should demonstrate her superiority in this race.

Moving to Nottingham's evening meet, Bling Bling Jane (Trap 4) catches the eye in the A4 contest (18.49). While facing early-paced competitors, Bling Bling Jane's strong-running style could prove advantageous. If she avoids early bumps and positions herself well by the midway point, her late pace might overpower the frontrunners. Having shown consistency in this grade and garnering market support, Bling Bling Jane could secure victory with a clear path.

At Romford, the highly skilled Stonepark Champ (Trap 3) aims to make an early statement for the Golden Sprint in a trial stakes event (20.44). Maxine Locke's speedster, recently victorious at Monmore, is expected to apply pressure with another swift start. Despite potentially being a short-priced favorite, Stonepark Champ appears to be a reliable selection.

Anthony's Best Bets:

15.07 Crayford - Angel Whisper (Trap 3)

18.49 Nottingham - Bling Bling Jane (Trap 4)

20.44 Romford - Stonepark Champ (Trap 3)
