Daily Greyhound Tips - 07 June 2024

Our expert returns with three top selections for Friday's races at Newcastle, Sunderland, and Romford.

Newcastle - 15:13

SHREWD LOCATION (Trap 3)

Kicking off with the Premier Greyhound Racing on Sky Sports Red Button Stakes at Newcastle, Shrewd Location (3) is dropping to A4 company, which should favor Harry Burton’s greyhound. With early pace and a beneficial draw inside another early starter, Coolavanny Lucas (4), Shrewd Location is positioned to take the lead early. Having been favored in previous A3 races, he should outclass this field. Once in front, he will be difficult to catch.

Sunderland - 20:56

BARDEN BELLA (Trap 3)

Next up at Sunderland, Barden Bella (3) races in the second A4 contest of the evening. In her debut last Friday, she was slow off the mark and didn’t feature prominently. However, this Dorotas Woo Hoo puppy drops in grade and should improve from her initial run. The race lacks early pace, providing an opportunity for Barden Bella to break quicker and be in contention early. With her potential as a stayer and anticipated improvement, she looks capable of winning this race.

Romford - 21:46

DROOPYS VIVACITY (Trap 3)

The highlight of the night is at Romford, where Droopys Vivacity (3) stands out in the PGR On Sky Sports Racing Maiden Stayers. Recently knocked out of the Derby at Towcester, he now steps up to 575m, which suits his staying style. With significant experience and only two years old, he has great potential. Although there is early speed on his inside, if Droopys Vivacity can navigate the second bend smoothly, he will be formidable in the final stretch.

Best Bets:

15:13 Newcastle - Shrewd Location (Trap 3)

20:56 Sunderland - Barden Bella (Trap 3)

21:46 Romford - Droopys Vivacity (Trap 3)
