Crayford Greyhound Sales: 47 of 49 Lots Sold

Wednesday saw a bustling day at Crayford with 47 out of 49 lots sold, totaling nearly £69,000. The highlight of the day was Honestly Norush, who impressed with the fastest time of 23.32 in Trial 6 during his first look at Crayford. This September 22 blue dog by Droopys Sydney out of Mon Amie has now joined Ricky Holloway's kennels and is poised for the Romford Puppy Cup in a few months.

Other significant purchases included Lot 42, Anthony, who clocked 23.59 and was sold for £4,500. He will now be trained by Theresa Dornan for new owner John Wales. Additionally, Lot 38, Jaykay Craze, recorded a time of 23.74 and was purchased for £4,000, joining Gemma Evans for the Pompey Ventures syndicate.

Nathan Corden commented on the success of the sale: “It was pleasing to have a sell rate of 96%, although the average price was slightly down at just under £1500. There were quite a few bargains at Crayford yesterday, which will please the customers. Premier Greyhound Sales is really starting to establish itself. Yesterday was just our sixth sale, and over the last month, we have supplied just over 100 winners across UK tracks.”

Looking ahead, Corden announced, “Our next sale is on Friday 7th June at Monmore, and we already have over 80 entries. I am expecting a high-quality sale there.”

With the strong results and growing reputation of Premier Greyhound Sales, the upcoming Monmore event is highly anticipated by trainers and owners alike.
