Coonough Crow Wins Time Nutrition Greyhound of the Month for May

Coonough Crow, the standout performer of the month, has been named the Time Greyhound Nutrition Greyhound of the Month for May.

Trained by the renowned Mark Wallis for the MWD Partnership, Coonough Crow had an impeccable month, securing the prestigious £10,000 Ladbrokes Kent Leger at Crayford and maintaining an unbeaten streak. This top-class stayer achieved a trio of victories at the Kent track, followed by impressive wins at Towcester and Romford.

Coonough Crow's next challenge is the heats of the Mark Siddall Prime Beef Memorial over 712m at Towcester this Sunday. The stayer edged out stiff competition from fellow nominees, including King Memphis and Queen Georgia, both trained by Liz McNair, Rioja Bungle (Kevin Hutton), and Swords Rex and The Other Kobe (both trained by Graham Holland).

The previous month's award went to Liz McNair’s Queen Joni, marking a continued trend of high-quality performances in the greyhound racing circuit.
