Pape Di Oro (23.80) and Roxys Bullet (35.28) secured wins in the Silver Maiden and Essex Vase, respectively. Farneys Trend (23.75) stood out for the four bends, while New Destiny emerged as the top performer. Quarteira came within two spots of Flashing Willow's sprint track record at Towcester during the Bet365 Northamptonshire Sprint heats. Rioja Maxi displayed a strong comeback at Oxford with a 26.76 (-10) win, increasing the likelihood of her inclusion in the Judgement Night team.

Havana Meanie, last week's Doncaster POW, completed his final preparation for Newcastle's Northern Puppy Derby with an impressive trial stakes performance. Witton Perfecto secured a commanding A1 win at Sunderland in only the tenth race of his career.

Pelaw saw Footfield Petal claim victory over defending champion Mustang Tyson. Clairekeith Remy impressed at Hove with a 29.32 (-10) run, while Ballymac Loca and Gagas Merry continued their Swindon stayers battle. Suffolk Downs' Thursday meeting was abandoned after seven races, but Bettys Jack equaled the 388m track record with a 23.32 run.

Sambar Kian's 29.85 at Nottingham was deemed "+20," and Tax You Tonight excelled at Romford with a 26.40 (-20) win in A2. Central Park featured A2 winner Barnora Kelly with a 29.47 run, and Perry Barr's A2 winner Billis Wizard stood out as the quickest.

Acomb Felix, Acomb Jasper, and Innfield Charm's open race wins at Doncaster were notable, with Felix earning a sympathy vote for a previous race. Drumdoit Jack bounced back at Yarmouth with a dominating 27.57 (N) in the fastest time of the week.

Deelish Lucy secured the only sub28 run at Kinsley in her last four days as a pup, while Skywalker Pele replaced the absent Caraxes as the POW at Sheffield. Valley's track record was reset by Dubai Kid in 40.03, a more realistic figure.
