Paul Burr celebrated a premier victory as Roxys Bullet took the Coral Essex Vase Final in a commanding wire-to-wire win at Romford. The local favourite shot from the traps and maintained the lead, fending off the fierce competition from Aayamza Sydney, trained by John Mullins, to win by a length and a quarter in 35.28 seconds. The win held special significance as Roxys Bullet was bred by Burr, out of his former racer Roxys Lass, and is co-owned by his wife Penny and the Miller family. Romford's racing card also featured the Coral Silver Maiden Final, where Pape Di Oro, representing the northeast, secured a swift victory for owner and trainer Savva Roberts in 23.80 seconds, promising an exciting prospect for the upcoming Derby.
