Sabo Excels in Impressive Six-Bend Debut

Ricky Holloway dominated Crayford's races, clinching six victories throughout the evening.

The winning streak for Holloway began with Sick Sabo, who made a striking debut over six bends. Previously trained by Graham Rankin and crowned the 2023 Puppy Classic winner, Sabo had long shown potential for longer distances like Crayford's easy six bends. Fresh off being a Guys & Dolls finalist last week, Sabo clocked an impressive 33.54.

In other races, Dazl Hermes and Four From Two emerged as slower winners over 540m, while Time To Talk and Signet Harper triumphed over 380m, with Harper securing a victory in a hurdle race. Razldazl Amanda put in a notable performance over 714m, recording a time of 45.14. Amanda and her littermate, Dazl Rolex, have consistently delivered strong performances, holding nine of the top 27 times in 2024 over eight bends at Crayford.

Tony Collett also had a successful night with three winners, the standout being Princess Athena, who outpaced Laughil Jess with a time of 33.60. Collett's other victories included Hellofabullet in a puppy race and Clear Mission in a 714m maiden.
