Romford's Electrifying Night: A Recap

Romford racing delivered a series of electrifying performances that kept the crowd on their toes. Among the highlights, Nathan Hunt's Davo You Go stood out by clocking the fourth-fastest 400m time of the year, finishing with a stunning 23.65 after an explosive 3.64 start. In the 575m race, Getme Up Boy showcased an impressive turn of speed, storming from behind to record a 34.92, narrowly edging out Nowitsmyturn, who had blazed through an initial 13.34 split under Richard Rees’ guidance.

Tom Heilbron’s Madabout Peck justified the long journey south, building on last week's win with another victory, this time with a 23.71 finish, completing a hat-trick following his record-breaking run at Crayford on August 18.

Maxine Locke celebrated a double victory, with Tullymurry Dylan reaffirming his status as the track's premier sprinter. Despite a challenging race, Dylan secured a hard-fought win in 13.63, marking his sixth consecutive 225m triumph at the London Road venue. The evening also saw Evans score twice, with Whitewood Lenny joining the winner’s circle.

Other notable victories included Droopys Maybe (35.29, Paul Young), Droopys Chuckles (24.00, Gemma Evans), Swift United (24.20, Tony Collett), Zoo Luru (23.72, Katie O’Flaherty), Yahoo Megan (24.29, Patrick Janssens), and Fabulous Sonique (35.04, Mark Wallis).
