Racing Club Discovers Success in Greyhound Ownership

A syndicate primarily recognised for its triumphs in horse racing is now just one race away from securing a spot in one of greyhound racing’s most prestigious finals, with a £20,000 prize awaiting the winner.

Since its inception in 2013, Value Racing Club has enjoyed victories at prominent venues like Ascot, Newmarket, and Sandown through their ownership of racehorses. However, their biggest achievement on the greyhound track came only last month when their standout greyhound, Druids Say Go, clinched the East Anglian Derby at Yarmouth, earning an impressive £15,000 in prize money.

Now, Druids Say Go, a daughter of the renowned sire Droopys Sydney, is just under 30 seconds away from qualifying for the Premier Greyhound Racing Oaks, the UK’s top competition exclusively for bitches.

Trained by Patrick Janssens in Hockwold-cum-Wilton, the three-year-old greyhound has already secured victories in both her heat and quarter-final races. To advance to the final and make her mark in greyhound racing history, she needs to finish in the top three of her upcoming semi-final at Perry Barr Stadium in Birmingham today.
