Clocking an impressive 15.18 seconds, Pro Parker recorded the second-fastest time in the entire competition. The quickest performance belonged to his littermate, Teaboy Brownie, who dazzled in the semifinals and entered the final as the favourite under Nathan Hunt’s guidance.
In the final showdown, Pro Parker’s explosive start gave him the edge over the competition, pulling ahead of 22/1 outsider Jobbrruda on the dash to the bend. While Jobbrruda eventually slipped to third, Zebedee Cluasa charged late to claim the runner-up position after a slow start.
The brothers, Pro Parker and Teaboy Brownie, hail from Pro Penny, whose first litter with King Elvis produced Bang On Harry, another standout trained by Hunt. Bang On Harry narrowly missed glory in the same final in 2022, entering as the favourite but falling short.
