Nottingham Greyhound Stadium Partners with Notts County

Nottingham Greyhound Stadium has formed an exciting new partnership with Notts County, offering fans a range of exclusive perks throughout the 2024-25 season. As part of this collaboration, season ticket holders for the Magpies can enjoy free entry to all Monday and Friday evening races by simply presenting their season ticket at the gate. Additionally, more special offers will be introduced to the broader fan base as the season progresses.

David Evans, the General Manager at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. He highlighted the deep-rooted sports culture in Nottingham, highlighting Notts County’s historic status as the world’s oldest professional football club. Given the stadium’s  proximity to Meadow Lane, Evans acknowledged the importance of Notts County to the local community, including greyhound racing fans, and he is thrilled to solidify this new collaboration. He also looked forward to seeing many Notts County supporters attending the races in their iconic black and white shirts in the near future.

Fund-Racer Events for Local Teams

The stadium has extended an invitation to Notts County supporters involved with local amateur football and sports teams to participate in its ongoing Fund-Racer events, held on Friday evenings throughout the year. The initiative provides a fun way to raise funds for local teams. Six teams, each with up to 100 guests, can attend trackside and sell tickets, with all proceeds going directly to support their club. These funds can be used for new equipment, facility improvements, or other club needs.

The stadium also takes the opportunity to promote the care of retired greyhounds, showcasing how these former racers make wonderful pets after their racing careers are over.
