In a stellar performance, Freddie shaved even more time off his previous best, improving from 29.37 to a remarkable 29.24 (+40). This achievement comes just a week after his leading time at Nottingham. Among the competitors in 2023, only Romeo Command has run faster, with no greyhounds surpassing this time in 2022. This outstanding speed positions Freddie as a top contender for the upcoming JenningsBet Puppy Classic later this month.
March On Kit also delivered a strong performance, securing a double win for their connections for the second consecutive week. Kit dominated the Standard Trophy Final, maintaining control throughout with a 5.05 split.
Meanwhile, Good Romeo, from Lynn Cook’s stable, triumphed over the 480m distance. Part of a talented litter that includes Miss Syd and Harlequin Ernie, he has remained undefeated in three races since returning from a break.
