12:59 HOVE: SCHADENFREUDE (Trap 3)

After a tough race last Friday, SCHADENFREUDE (Trap 3) is expected to bounce back and secure a win in the A4 contest at Hove (12:59). A regular on Friday mornings at the South Coast track, Carl Gardiner's dog has been unlucky in recent outings, particularly last week when she was hampered at the second bend. Despite that, this A4 race appears less competitive, and if SCHADENFREUDE can avoid trouble, she has the quality to outclass her opponents and finally claim the victory that’s been eluding her.

16:28 NEWCASTLE: EMERS PEACHES (Trap 3)

Over at Newcastle for the afternoon races, EMERS PEACHES (Trap 3) is in good form and is a strong contender for the A2 race at 16:28. Having placed second in two of her last three starts, she’s well-positioned to take advantage of two slower starters on her inside. If she can get into a favorable early position, her strong finishing speed could help her clinch the win. Crooks Coco (Trap 4) poses the biggest threat, but after receiving a double penalty for a dominant A4 win in August, she’s struggled at this higher level.

19:44 ROMFORD: MADABOUT PECK (Trap 3)

The standout bet of the day comes from Romford’s open race at 19:44, where MADABOUT PECK (Trap 3) is heavily favoured in the second heat of the Romford Friday Night 500 Standard. Tom Heilbron’s Newcastle-based runner has been in top form on his recent visits to Romford, showing steady improvement with each race. Though he faces competition with plenty of early pace, his ability to hit the front early should keep his rivals chasing him all the way to the finish, where he aims to complete a Friday night hat-trick.

Best Bets

  • 12:59 HOVE: SCHADENFREUDE (Trap 3)
  • 16:28 NEWCASTLE: EMERS PEACHES (Trap 3)

Enjoy the evening and good luck with your bets!
