Daily Greyhound Tips for June 22, 2024

7:56 PM - Monmore

EL TORNILLO (Trap 1)

Dave Lee’s Crayford raider, EL TORNILLO, can continue his consistent run by taking a heat of a 480m competition at Monmore. After contesting the first two rounds of the Derby, he has secured back-to-back wins at Nottingham and over six bends at Crayford. While he might have preferred a draw slightly off the fence, his ability to start fast from trap one, as demonstrated by his rapid split at Crayford and in the Derby first round, should serve him well. Successful on his previous visit to Wolverhampton in February, he pulled off a huge performance by getting up on the line, showcasing his learning curve. Tonight, he should feel even more at home.

7:44 PM - Central Park

OODE LALLY (Trap 1)

OODE LALLY is well-positioned to take advantage of a prime draw in a Maiden Open at Central Park. Tony Collett’s railer should enjoy a clear run to the corner with a proven trap five operator drawn alongside. Although he was tentative early on last week, it was understandable given his first look in competitive company. A burst of pace into the final turn had him motoring home, albeit narrowly missing the victory. Tonight, he should secure a probable win.

8:24 PM - Hove

PUNKROCK WARRIOR (Trap 3)

PUNKROCK WARRIOR has never been in better form and is set to claim a competitive A1 at Hove. With Beloved Brenda (Trap 2) likely to step left, Stuart Maplesden’s charge, who is chasing a four-timer, can turn handy before unleashing his trademark finishing kick. His current form and advantageous position make him a strong contender for tonight's race.
