Recent reports suggesting that Crafty Shivoo has been retired are inaccurate.
Although Shivoo was sent to Ireland under Pat Norris’s care with the intention of breeding, her connections are simply waiting for her to come into season. Since this hasn’t happened yet, she recently participated in a sprint trial at Cork, where she recorded a time of 17.35. The fastest time recorded in a race this year belongs to Stonepark Hoffa, who clocked 17.30 on August 24, the only sub-17.25 time so far.
Norris has stated that Shivoo is in excellent condition, and she is now being prepared for the Laurels, which kicks off this Saturday.
