Additional Cesarewitch Trial Sessions At Mullingar
There are extra unofficial trial sessions scheduled for Cesarewitch entrants on Sunday, February 25th, and Sunday, March 3rd, between 12 and 1 pm.
Additionally, trial sessions are planned for Saturday, February 24th, and Saturday, March 2nd, between 5 and 5.30 pm. Bookings for these sessions can be made through Orlaith at 086 8607636.
Normal Schedule For Remaining Trials
Trials sessions will continue as usual on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (Unofficial), and on Friday from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm, and Saturday from 5:45 pm to 6:15 pm (both official).
Cesarewitch Details
The Cesarewitch is set to commence on Sunday, March 10th, with the final scheduled for a week later on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17th.
This year's classic will be run as a two-run event for 36 greyhounds, where the winner of each of the six opening round heats will progress to the final.
With a winner’s purse of €10,000 for just two runs, it is expected to be highly popular. A reminder that the closing date for entries is Monday, March 4th, at 5 pm.
