Barry O’Sullivan achieved an impressive milestone at Central Park's graded card, securing seven consecutive victories in one of his most successful meetings to date.
The winning streak included Jans Abbie (15/8), One Cool King (7/1), Affane Bailey (6/4F), Crafty El Paso (6/1), Ballymac Nemo (9/4), Fawkham Lulu (9/4F), and Who Hoo (6/5), resulting in a 9,352-1 seven-timer for the Kent-based trainer, who also supplies runners for Crayford.
O’Sullivan admitted he had initially favoured Annes Elias over Jans Abbie in the A5 race that started the winning run. However, he acknowledged that Abbie and the others performed exceptionally well. Reflecting on the achievement, O'Sullivan noted that while winning seven races in a meeting is rare, achieving them consecutively was particularly remarkable. He credited his daughter Rose for her significant contribution to the success and mentioned that their dogs were currently in great form. The recent victory of Shiv in the Ladbrokes Champion Hurdle added to their accomplishments, providing the perfect finishing touch to their outstanding run.
